Popular retro American diner Joji’s Diner has opened a second outlet at Telok Ayer, along Stanley Street! The IG-famous restaurant first opened its doors in 2021 at Serangoon to much fanfare, thanks to its throwback interiors and retro diner-inspired Western fare.

Joji’s Diner Review: Retro American Diner At Serangoon For Chicken Waffles And Burgers Under $12.90

The all-new Telok Ayer restaurant sits in a two-storey building that fits up to 80 patrons. There are outdoor seats as well, so you can opt for alfresco dining on a breezy evening.

Food-wise, look forward to all-day breakfast items including the signature Chicken and Waffle ($12.90++). This sinful dish comprises freshly baked waffles paired with tasty deep-fried chicken, topped with an egg.

Fans will be pleased that the All Star Plate ($12.90++) is also available on the menu. It comes with breakfast hits such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and french toast. You can swap out the toast for pancakes with a $2++ top-up if you prefer.

Pour a generous drizzle of maple syrup on your toast or pancakes, and enjoy the sweet-savoury flavours all together!

A trip to any retro American diner wouldn’t be complete without a creamy milkshake. Get in an order of Big Bang ($12.90++), a rich and malty chocolate milkshake topped with sweet whipped cream, mini pretzels, and a mini doughnut for good measure.

Those who love to drink can visit Joji’s Diner’s latest bar concept from 5pm to 11:30pm for a boozy sundowner, including fresh-off-the-tap Budweiser draft beers going at $7.50++ per pint. You can also get it by the bottle or bucket at $6++ or $25++ respectively.
