Michelin Guide Singapore winners 2023

The Michelin Guide Singapore 2023 awards are back. Held at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the gala recognises the eateries and restaurants in Singapore that serve up some of the best fare in the country.

Michelin inspectors globally critique the eateries according to five standard criteria: the use of high-quality ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, the personality of the chef conveyed through dishes, value for money, as well as consistency over time and across the menu.

The one-star awardees were the first to be announced at the event, of which there are 46, including 5 new entrants. These establishments are considered “very good in their category”, with consistently high standards:

Other than the coveted stars, this year’s gala saw the Young Chef Award go to Chef Kevin Wong of Seroja, the Service Award to Desmond Wong of Shoukouwa, the Sommelier Award to Makoto Iwabuchi of Sushi Sakuta. The first ever Green Star in Singapore, which is Michelin’s sustainability award, went to Chef Kevin Wong of Seroja, who picked up a total of three awards this year.
