Drips Bakery at Raffles Place for fruit tarts and more

Good news for those who work in the CBD: Drips Bakery has opened at One Raffles Place, so you can get their famous tarts, pastries and more during your lunch break!

Drips Bakery Café: Heritage Tart And Cake Store Has New Outlet At Ngee Ann City

This is the homegrown bakery’s third outlet in Singapore. Its flagship at Tiong Bahru has been around since 2010, and exactly 10 years later, Drips Bakery Ngee Ann City was launched.

Their latest Raffles Place branch sees an impressive lineup of freshly baked treats, including their famous fruit tarts. Those who like variety can get the Drips Teaser Minis ($29.80), a set comprising six mini tarts, including a Mini Citrus Meringue Tart and Mini Chocolate Truffle Tart.

Their Seasonal Fresh Fruits Tart, available in a four-inch size ($13.90), is another must-try. This signature tart features Madagascar vanilla beans-infused custard topped with fresh berries.

There’s also the Cinnamon Pear Tart, which goes at $9.50 a slice or $72 for a whole pie. If you’re planning to get the latter, we recommend ordering it in advance. This rich dessert spotlights mini French pears soaked in a spiced mixture, held in a fragrant almond tart shell.

Other than tarts, the bakery also offers a small selection of viennoiseries such as Peach Melba ($4), Almond Croissant ($5), and Dark Cherry Danish ($4).

For drinks, besides the regular espresso-based beverages (from $3.50), there’s also an Iced Shaken Sour Plum ($5.80) if you want something refreshing. Alternatively, try the Yuzu Matcha ($5.50) or Hojicha Latte ($6) if you’re up for tea instead.
