Din Tai Fung got us all excited when they rolled out their limited-edition Ginger Chocolate Lava Buns last November. This time, they’ve launched a brand new offering: Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun.

Din Tai Fung Has Limited Edition Ginger Chocolate Lava Buns For $2++

Available from 1 November to 31 December 2022 across all outlets, this limited-time-only treat is made for chocoholics. It features 80% premium molten dark chocolate lava encased in a soft chocolate bun. The bun is made with high-quality flour that’s imported from Taiwan and finished with a gold brush top to ring in the year-end festivities. It’s steamed just right, so when you tear into it, the molten chocolate filling oozes out.

These buns are priced at $3.50++ per piece or $10++ for three. If you’re a UOB Cardmember and you’re dining in, you also get 10% off your order of Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun (three pieces)!

Those who love liu sha bao will be happy to know that the famous chain will also be bringing back their Steamed Custard Bun ($3++ per piece, $9++ for three). Available until stocks run out, this fan favourite sees a light and fluffy bao with an ooey gooey salted egg custard centre for a sweet and savoury flavour.

Otherwise, go for the Steamed Red Bean Xiao Long Bao with Chocolate Lava, which takes inspiration from the classic XLB. This sweet rendition sees chocolate lava and red bean within Din Tai Fung’s world-famous xiao long bao skin. It’s priced at $10.30++ for six pieces and $12.80++ for 10. Get them before they run out!

These items are available across all Din Tai Fung restaurants.
