Itaewon Jjajang is a Korean-Chinese restaurant selling legit jjajangmyeon in Tanjong Pagar. Their signature Set A ($49++) comes with three popular dishes: jjajangmyeon (black soybean sauce noodles), jjamppong (Chinese-style noodles with vegetables and seafood), and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork).

10. Daejim

A convenient three-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station is Daejim, known for their Ganjang Gejang ($40++) AKA soy-marinated raw crabs. They also have an impressive lineup of house-made banchan, including egg rolls, fried seaweed, fermented squid legs, japchae, and kimchi. Meaty BBQ sets are available too, as with popular Korean favourites such as Budae Jigae (Army Stew) ($28/$48), served with sliced tofu, clams, prawns, and egg.
