Known for their sambal capped rice, there are five different types of nasi lemak here, all priced at RM2 per pack. On offer are variations such as anchovies with a hard-boiled egg, squid, prawn, fish, and salted fish with a hard-boiled egg.

The star of the show definitely has to be the generous scoop of sambal which accompanies the fragrant rice. Elevating the simple dish with a delightfully fiery kick, the mildly sweet sambal is made with just the right amount of spice and all things nice. The ‘lemak’ in the rice was also well-balanced with no chunks of rice clumped together.
