Unfortunately, we will be bidding farewell yet to another popular eatery. Cake Spade, will sadly be ceasing their operations in February 2023, which definitely comes as a surprise to everyone considering they recently moved to South Bridge Road in April this year.

It was announced on the cafe’s Instagram page that they will be closing down next year. Expressing their thanks towards their customers, the post’s image also featured the caption “Goodbyes are not forever”, hopefully indicating this won’t be the last time we see them.

Some of their signature cake flavours include the Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake and Hummingbird Cake, which is a sponge cake layered with pineapple, banana, coconut and maple cream cheese topped with pecans and coconut flakes.

In April this year, they also launched their viral 2d comic cake which is a stunning insta-worthy cake that’ll satisfy your tummy as well.

As the cake shop approaches its last few months, they are inviting their loyal customers to head down and enjoy their cakes before they close next year. Hurry down today while you still can!
