In case you didn’t know, the world-famous brand was founded in 2005 by ramen master Chef Tomoharu Shono, who’s won multiple accolades for his creations, including Tokyo Ramen of the Year. His key to success? Focusing on the balance of the five main elements of ramen—the sauce (tare), soup, noodles, oil, and toppings. The brand currently has 17 outlets across the globe, so this Singapore outpost will mark its 18th store launch.

There’s also their best-selling Duck Matcha (price TBD), comprising matcha-infused broth with duck chashu slices.

Mensho Tokyo’s noodles are said to be made with a specific type of whole wheat grain that’s selected from farms and ground into flour at their factories. What you get are a springy texture and nutty flavour, along with the nutritional benefits of whole wheat.
Besides the chain’s signature ramen, you can look forward to Singapore-exclusive mains, including a Chilli Crab Ramen (price TBD). That’s not all: Mensho Tokyo Singapore will be the first outlet in the world to offer desserts!
