328 Katong Laksa has laksa hotpot buffet from $15
Laksa fans, this one’s for you. The legendary 328 Katong Laksa has recently created a Laksa Hotpot concept, which sees the dish’s spicy coconut gravy served as a soup base for your hotpot feast.
To be specific, this laksa buffet is only offered at the outlet along 216 East Coast Road. Once here, you’ll need to choose your soup base, which can be the Single Pot Signature Laksa Soup ($15), or a dual option such as the Laksa Soup + Chicken Soup ($15). You get free-flow broths, which is a pretty good deal!

There’s a good range of hotpot ingredients for you to choose from here, all priced a la carte. Those who enjoy seafood can enjoy the likes of Tiger Prawn ($8.80), Prawn Paste ($11.80), Hokkaido Scallop ($10.80), and Abalone ($15.80).
Meanwhile, meat options include Smoked Duck ($8.80), Sliced Pork Belly ($7.80), Sliced US Beef ($10.80) and more. Imagine dunking succulent slices of beef into bubbling laksa, causing it to absorb all the sweet-spicy flavours of the broth—that’s the experience you’re going to get with the laksa hotpot.
Of course, if you don’t have time to sit and enjoy a hotpot feast, you could always order the classic bowl of Laksa (from $7.30) here instead. The laksa here is characterised by a lemak coconutty gravy swirled with chilli and prawn oil. This is joined by rice noodles and a selection of ingredients, including shrimp, cockles, fishcake, and tau kwa.
