Mister Donut and more new eateries to open in Tampines 1’s basement
East-siders, get ready for an influx of great new eats this June as Tampines 1’s basement is ending off its basement renovations. For you, that means a slew of all-new eateries, including PastaGo, rroll, and the famous Mister Donut!
According to a post on the community-run Instagram, I Love Tampines, many of these new eateries will open progressively from June. We’ll confirm any actual opening dates when we have them.
Meanwhile, you can still look forward to a line-up of great new eats. Mister Donut is obviously the crowning jewel here. Following its latest opening in Anchorvale Village, the Japanese mochi doughnut chain has set their sights on the East, with their new Tampines 1 address.
For those who’ve yet to try Mister Donut, the Japanese brand is renowned for their Pon De Ring doughnut, made with tapioca flour instead of wheat flour, so it has a bouncy, mochi-like consistency.
Another hyped-up Tampines 1 opening to look forward to is Pasta Go. The halal-certified brand is renowned for their affordable fresh pasta dishes that diners can grab and go. Head down and choose from a menu of classic and novel pasta dishes, with prices starting as low as $4.90 for their Aglio Olio.
Cinnamon bun lovers can anticipate the homegrown bakery, rrooll, making their mark in Tampines too. The brand made a name for themselves off their innovative takes on cinnamon buns, featuring both sweet and savoury flavours.
