Yuè at Aloft Singapore Novena will finally be launching their first Lunar New Year menu, offering diners a symphony spread of festival dishes from January 26 to February 24!
There’s a twist – Yuè signature dishes are named after Chinese festive song titles – 龙龙的新年来捞鱼生 (Stirring Up A Bountiful Year), 迎春接福恭喜你 (Receiving Blessings This Season), and 福星高照喜上眉稍 (Lucky Star Upon You), among other delicious creations.
Yuè Incredible CNY Menu From Jan 26 Till Feb 24:
1. Prosperity Yu Sheng ($68++)
Yuè’s Prosperity Yu Sheng is served with slices of mouth-watering salmon and chunky scallop pieces, generously drizzled with passionfruit sauce giving a zesty tang to the traditional Chinese New Year Dish. Diners can also choose to enhance their experience with the Abundance Yu Sheng ($128++, available only in large portions), featuring extra baby abalones joining in the prosperous well-wishes.
2. Receiving Blessings This Season ($88++)
Showcasing an exquisite Braised 6 Head Abalone, Pork Knuckle, Mushroom, and Black Moss. Highlighting the succulent, slow-cooked pork seasoned with a blend of flavourful spices over a bed of spinach, this culinary creation honours tradition and encourages diners to indulge in a sensory experience that symbolizes luck and unity.
3. Lucky Star Upon You ($68++)
This indulgent double-boiled chicken soup with fish maw, sea whelk, and conpoy will have soup-lovers savouring over it. Every ingredient is perfectly boiled, enhancing the essence of both chicken and seafood, ensuring that each sip guarantees the sense of nostalgia and comforting feeling of a home-cooked meal.
4. Five Grains Prosperous New Year
A hearty take on the traditional Chinese sausage fried rice, this dish is combined with preserved meat and sakura ebi. A complementary union of wok-fried rice, savoury cherry blossom shrimps, and finely diced, well-seasoned garnishes will have people of all ages indulging in it.
