Fortune Centre is brimming with hidden food gems, including Tsumiki, a recent addition to the mall. The bakery, run by a Japanese baker, has gained a steady following for its shokupan and sourdough loaves since soft launching in July 2024.

The takeaway-only kiosk offers a limited menu of bakes that are freshly prepared with premium ingredients: think Japanese flour and French butter. As the items available change from time to time, you’re recommended to check out Tsumiki’s IG for the latest updates.

Some mainstays include their Tsukimi Shokupan, priced at $1 for a slice and $6.50 for a whole loaf. They also have an Anko flavour, where their signature Japanese milk bread sees a red bean swirl at the centre. This costs $2 a slice, $6 for a third of a loaf, or $15 for a full loaf.

Red bean and green tea are a match made in heaven, so you can try this combination with their Matcha Anko shokupan, priced from $2 a slices.
Make sure you keep a lookout for their sweet bread series, which rotates frequently. Some previous highlights include Earl Grey Milk Kinako ($5) and Chestnut Walnut Bun ($4.50), a festive special.

They also have freshly baked Sourdough, available at $6 for half a loaf and $12 for a full loaf. These sell out fast, so make sure you head down early if you’d like to snag some! Alternatively, you can place an order online.
