Tofully has relocated to Bedok

Formerly located at ABC Brickworks Food Centre is Tofully, a relatively new hawker stall specialising in handmade Hakka yong tau foo. This stall garnered a steady following after winning the Mediacorp Hawker Academy award in the yong tau foo category, and is well-known for their yong tau foo which stars fresh, handmade ingredients. Fans will be delighted to know that they’ve recently relocated to Shiweitian Coffee Shop in Bedok.

We recommend going for the Laksa Bowl (Soup) ($4.90), which comprises a rich, spicy, and coconutty broth with yellow noodles cooked to an al dente texture. The broth also boasts robust notes of hei bee, AKA dried shrimp.

Alternatively, you can DIY your own bowl of yong tau foo with the displayed toppings or go for the stall’s curated options if you’re unsure of what to get. The stall’s Signature Bowl (Dry) ($4.30) is worth a shot. The dish includes a mix of boiled and deep-fried toppings such as fried pork meatball, chilli fishcake, fried beancurd skin, vegetables, mee kia, and a ramen egg.

If you love mentaiko, a must-try dish would be the Mentaiko YTF Rice Bowl. At $6 a bowl, you’ll get various fried toppings, cherry tomatoes, a ramen egg, and veggies coated in Tofully’s signature Ampang sauce, atop Japanese short-grain rice. The dish is finished with flame-torched, house-made mentaiko mayo sauce for an extra umami kick.

Other items to look forward to include the Healthy Tofully Bowl (Soup) ($4.30), Mala Tang YTF (Soup) ($5), and Ampang YTF With Sauce ($5.50), which is said to be garlicky, sweet, and savoury.
