The newly rebranded cafe is now decked in industrial and rustic theme interiors, with dark colours, textured walls and circular wall lamps, as well as booth seats for cosy vibes. Additionally, each table is decorated with an adorable lamp in the shape of a floating cloud, representing the cafe as “Nimbus” which means a luminous vapour or cloud.

Avocado On Toast ($19)

Starting off with their Breakfast menu, the Avocado on Toast is a must-try and a great vegetarian option as well. Enjoy a generous serving of smashed avocados on sourdough bread that’s garnished with dukkah, radish and feta cheese with a side of hummus.

Starting off with the sourdough, the bread is crispy and has the perfect thickness that makes each bite really satisfying. Drizzled with some olive oil, the bread does however get a tad oily. The avocado is incredibly creamy and the acidity of the lemon juice pairs well with its natural flavour. Helping to add a little more oomph is the feta cheese, although a few extra pieces of it would have been more enjoyable.

Compared to your typical hummus, Nimbus’ is more clumpy that the usual creamy version. There is however a good amount of flavour, with a hint of sweetness which is pretty unique. Topped with pumpkin and sunflower seeds, they are the prominent flavour of the hummus and they give an added layer of crunch to it.
Lobster Roll ($32)

If you’re looking for something atas to indulge in, the Lobster Roll is definitely the top choice. Served with a side of fries and salad, the fluffy brioche bread is buttered well and gives a crispy crunch as you bite into it.

As for the star of the dish, the lobster is perfectly cooked, giving it an amazing bite. Using Maine lobsters, the freshness and sweetness shine through, making each bite incredibly refreshing. Mixed with creamy mayo, it gives a pleasant tang that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the lobster.
