Stack is a Muslim-owned cafe with loaded sandos near Bugis

Stamford Arts Centre draws plenty of attention from foodies due to the presence of Tipo Pizzeria e Trattoria, but there’s another eatery there that’s equally worth your time: Stack, a Muslim-owned sandwich cafe.
In fact, Stack is owned by The Black Hole Group, the company behind the aforementioned Tipo, Working Title, The Great Mischief and more. Talk about pedigree.

Stack is, if you’ll excuse the pun, stacked with good eats. The cafe serves a range of loaded sandos, waffles, ice cream, and drinks, all in an IG-worthy space.

The loaded sando of choice for many is the Spam and Egg and Egg ($12), which uses egg in such an interesting way that they had to name it twice. While your typical Spam features here, it is joined by an irresistible combination of cold egg salad and a whole half-boiled runny egg.
Meat lovers may prefer the Loaded Gun ($13) sandwich, which is constructed with three types of meat: beef salami, turkey ham, and beef pastrami.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then Stack’s waffles are right down your alley. The sweetest, most decadent waffle you can find here is the Fluff Monster ($13), which is a large buttermilk waffle topped with caramelised banana, chocolate hazelnut, and torched marshmallow fluff.

Stack serves a mean cup of coffee, too—you can taste the powerful aroma of Dutch Colony coffee in a cup of Espresso ($3.50) or White ($5.50). If it’s a hot day out, you can opt for the Cold Brew ($7) instead.
