Munchi Pancakes at Lau Pa Sat for halal min jiang kueh

We previously reviewed Munchi Pancakes back in 2020, when it was still a solo stall operating out of Yishun Park Hawker Centre. Since then, the humble min jiang kueh shop has expanded to another outlet in Fernvale Hawker Centre. Come 14 November 2022, the homegrown business is set to launch yet another stall right in the CBD, in the bustling Lau Pa Sat.

There’s no information on the stall’s unit number as of now, but we’ve confirmed with Munchi Pancakes that it’ll be located in Lau Pa Sat, which is a short four-minute walk from Telok Ayer MRT Station.

For traditional min jiang kueh, pick from three flavours: Original, Charcoal, Green Tea. Then, choose your filling, with unique picks such as Biscoff ($1.80) and Black Sesame ($1.80).

The Munchi Pancake, which stars a pocket-sized, sandwich-esque pancake filled with house-made paste, is equally popular. For this, you get to choose from more fillings, such as Thai Milk Tea ($1.80), Strawberry Cheese ($1.80), and Oreo Cheese ($1.80). Classic flavours including Red Bean ($1.50) and Peanut ($1.50) are also available.

If you enjoy variety, opt for the Mini Munchi, where you get to select up to two flavours of your choice. Traditional fillings such as Peanut, Coconut, and Red Bean, are priced at $4 for six pieces, while premium options including Belgian Chocolate and Matcha cost $5 instead.

Prices listed above are for Munchi Pancakes’ existing two outlets. We’ll update this article as we get more details on the prices of this CBD stall.
