Honbo will open in CHIJMES with famous smashed burgers

Burger fans, you’ll want in on this: Honbo, a popular Hong Kong burger chain, will open its first international outpost right here in Singapore by end-July 2023! The brand has six outlets across Hong Kong, and its newest eatery will be located in CHIJMES—a short stroll from City Hall MRT Station.

While the full menu and prices are yet to be released, we know that you can expect their iconic Honbo Burger (price TBD), which stars the brand’s signature 2oz beef patties, double cheese, pickles, onion, and a secret sauce. Other options include a Double Cheeseburger (price TBD) and Hamburger (price TBD), the latter of which is great if you’re not that hungry.
Otherwise, go all out and get The Gold Standard (price TBD), which comprises two 4oz beef patties and two slices of cheese, zhnged up with bacon for an extra savoury bite.

Their beef patties are made fresh daily using Double Gold Beef that’s imported from Wisconsin, USA, and do not contain preservatives or MSG. Each patty is manually smashed on a flattop griddle to order, so you’re getting ’em fresh and piping hot.
Another highlight is their house-made potato milk buns, made with a recipe that has been specially formulated with famous French baker Eric Kayser. These buns are said to be made with mashed potatoes that are painstakingly prepared every day, on-site.

According to an 8days exclusive, there’ll be some snacks and sides on offer, including fries and buffalo wings. Hopefully their Homemade Beef Chilli (price TBD) will also be available on the SG menu—fingers crossed!
