Bae.gal is a new kiosk at Century Square with cheap bagels

Just when we thought the bagel trend has come and gone, there’s another new entrant on the market: Bae.gal, the latest addition to Century Square. Located on Level 1 of the Tampines shopping mall, this takeaway kiosk is run by the same team behind local bakery Swee Heng.

These colourful bagels remind us of San.wich, another new-ish sandwich concept by the same brand. They first launched in Choa Chu Kang in March this year, before rolling out a few other outlets across the island, including one at The Woodleigh Mall.

Back to Bae.gal: here, you’ll find an array of pre-packed bagels that are said to be soft and chewy. Tuck into savoury bagel sandwiches at affordable prices, with the likes of Spicy Korean Chicken with Egg & Kimchi Bagel ($3.20), Chicken Cutlet with Egg & Cheese Bagel ($3.20), and Chicken Ham with Cheese & Egg Bagel ($3.20). There’s even a Snow Crab Mentaiko flavour at $4.20 that sounds rather premium! Based on the photo, each portion looks like it’s half the size of a usual bagelwich, so you can double up and get two if you’re feeling extra peckish.

Those in the mood for something sweet can grab their Peanut Mochi Bagel ($3.40) and Kaya Peanut Pandan Bagel ($3.40) instead. Bae.gal also offers an assortment of spreads for you to enjoy with your sweet bagels, including Biscoff Sauce ($0.80) and Strawberry Sauce ($0.80).

While you’re in the area, head over to Tampines Mall and visit Wunderfolks, a popular tart shop that has just opened with delicious croissants, IG-worthy tarts, and barista-brewed coffee!
