If you’re a big fan of Saizeriya, here’s something worth checking out: Milan Shokudo, a new Japanese-Italian restaurant, has recently opened in Junction 8!
The new fusion concept eatery offers affordable mains including pasta, pizza, grilled items and more.

NGL, the restaurant’s menu and interiors remind us of the popular Saizeriya. They even have a $3.90++ free-flow drinks bar similar to their counterpart!

Expect fusion mains such as Teriyaki Chicken Pasta ($6.90++), which comprises handmade pasta with a sweet-savoury sauce and strips of teriyaki-glazed chicken.

The Smoked Duck Carbonara ($10.90++) is another signature dish. You can top up $1++ for a poached egg for extra creaminess. Alternatively, the Truffle Cream Pasta ($10.90++) and Japanese Clam Pasta ($5.90++) are popular picks, too!
According to Milan Shokudo’s menu, the pastas are freshly handmade.

Over at the pizza front, prices are kept affordable, too. The cheapest main is the Margherita Pizza, which goes for just $4.90++. They also serve unique fusion flavours such as Corn Mayonnaise Pizza ($6.90++) and Takoyaki Pizza ($12.90++).

On top of pizzas and pastas, you can look forward to a good selection of doria AKA rice gratin. There’s the Chicken Meatball Demi-Glaced Doria ($10.90++), which comes with rice doused in a rich gravy, topped with melty cheese and meatballs, and a Scallop Mentai Doria ($13.90++) for mentaiko fans.
Don’t miss the grilled section of their menu too, especially if you’re big on protein. Options include Cheese Hamburg ($10.90++) and Beef Sirloin Steak ($19.90++), both served on a sizzling hotplate.
Milan Shokudo sits on the second floor of Junction 8, directly connected to Bishan MRT Station.
