From June 14 to 17, indulge in an exclusive 6-course set dinner menu aptly titled “The Ultimate Wagyu Experience” ($188++/pax), crafted to honor fathers and the significant father figures in our lives.
Fat Cow Offering Exclusive Father’s Day Dinner Set
The meal commences with Zensai, a delectable selection of seafood and vegetable appetizers. It features Kanazawa spinach marinated and simmered in umami dashi. Next, enjoy Kabayaki-style freshwater eel, and the opulent fatty tuna crowned with luxurious Hokkaido uni and grilled seaweed.
Renowned as a Wagyu specialist restaurant that handpicks premium Japanese beef, Fat Cow spotlights beef from Gunma prefecture in the Toriyama Umami Wagyu Carpaccio. The thinly sliced, succulent meat is sous vide to perfection, ensuring tenderness with each mouthful.
The flavours of this dish are elevated by a quenelle of Russian Sturgeon caviar, imparting an exquisite brininess. It is well complemented with umami shio kombu, citrusy yuzu zest, and fresh chives.
Next, indulge in the Hamo Tempura with Simmered Vegetables, featuring Pike Conger Eel delicately coated with tempura batter and deep-fried until golden-brown and crispy. Served alongside are simmered vegetables such as tomatoes, okra, and pumpkin, as well as a silky steamed egg custard.
Subsequently, the flavourful Sous-vide Duck Breast is slow- cooked with bonito stock and complemented with robust akamiso or red miso, then topped with thinly sliced Japanese leeks.
For the main course, the Charcoal-Grilled Toriyama Umami Wagyu Steak is expertly grilled over binchotan for a light smoky char. While the melt-in-the-mouth steak already showcases its natural flavours, they are further elevated with condiments of finely chopped wasabi, pickled fresh peppercorn, and mustard.
Fat Cow’s signature Fat Rice is the perfect accompaniment, featuring Hokkaido Nanatsuboshi rice glistening with umami, rendered beef fat.
End your meal with Dezato, a simply divine, velvety house-made Japanese-style cheesecake enriched with a whiskey caramel sauce.
