The latest addition to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Bird Paradise, will be having its soft opening from May 8 to 26 with special rate promotions! The successor to Jurong Bird Park which closed its doors earlier this year, guests can enjoy an array of new programmes at this new attraction.
Bird Paradise Having Soft Opening In May
During the soft opening from May 8 to May 26, visitors can enjoy a special rate of $38 for adults, $23 for children aged three to 12 years old, and $20 for seniors aged 60 and above. From May 27 onwards, tickets will be at the full price of $48 for adults, $33 for children, and $20 for seniors.

Variety Of Programmes To Enjoy
“Our animal care team and veterinarians have been carrying out the mammoth task of moving more than 3,000 birds from Jurong to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve,” Mike Barclay, Group CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group shared.
Besides a newly renovated park featuring 10 different thematic zones, visitors can also enjoy both new and familiar programmes at Bird Paradise. At the Sky Amphitheatre, two new avian presentations will be on display – “Predators on Wings” and “Wings of the World”.
As shared by Mandai Wildlife Group, the new attractions will have “a new format and content, while retaining some of the favourite elements” from the previous ones at Jurong Bird Park. Feeding sessions for birds like Starlings, African Hornbills, and Pelicans also be making a return for $8 per session. The feeding sessions will be available at various zones in the park, such as at the Heart of Africa, Kuok Group Wings of Asia, and Lory Loft.

New Public Area For Dining, Retail, And Fun

A new attraction, the Mandai Wildlife West will also make its debut, serving as the main arrival area for visitors to Bird Paradise and the upcoming Rainforest Wild.

The new public area will feature a 10m-tall waterfall, sculpted after Indonesia’s Madakaripura waterfall.

Mandai Wildlife West will also offer an array of dining options such as Luke’s Lobster, Leckerbaer and Mr Holmes Bakehouse with dessert options like Birds of Paradise. Additionally, other dining options will include A&W, Collin’s, Han’s Union, Pavilion Banana Leaf, Old Chang Kee, and Starbucks.
